Introduction

purple.trade ("we", "us", or "the platform") is a decentralized perpetual futures trading terminal built on the Solana blockchain. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy describes what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data.

Information We Collect

Blockchain Data

When you connect your wallet and interact with the platform, your public wallet address and on-chain transaction data are processed. This data is inherently public on the Solana blockchain and is not collected or stored by us beyond what is necessary to display your trading activity within the application.

Market Data Cache

We use Convex, a serverless database, to cache on-chain market metadata such as token names, symbols, logos, and market statistics. This cache improves performance and does not contain any personal information. Account snapshots (position data) are cached temporarily to reduce RPC load.

No Personal Information

We do not collect, store, or process any personally identifiable information (PII) such as names, email addresses, phone numbers, IP addresses, or device identifiers. We do not require account registration or KYC. The platform interacts solely with your Solana wallet.

Local Storage & Cookies

The platform uses browser local storage to persist user preferences such as selected market and trade form state. This data is stored entirely on your device and is never transmitted to any server.

We do not use tracking cookies, analytics scripts, or any third-party advertising or profiling services. No cookies are set by purple.trade.

Third-Party Services

The platform interacts with the following third-party services as part of normal operation:

  • •Solana RPC nodes — to read blockchain state and submit transactions
  • •Convex — serverless database for caching market metadata (no PII stored)
  • •DexScreener API — for live token price data
  • •Vercel — hosting provider for the web application
  • •Solflare Wallet — wallet adapter for connecting your Solana wallet

These services may have their own privacy policies. We encourage you to review them.

Data Retention

Since we do not collect personal data, there is no personal data to retain or delete. On-chain transaction data is permanent and immutable on the Solana blockchain — this is a property of public blockchains, not a decision made by purple.trade. Cached market data in Convex is ephemeral and automatically refreshed.

Your Rights

As a decentralized application, you maintain full control over your assets and data at all times:

  • •You can disconnect your wallet at any time to stop all interaction with the platform
  • •You can clear browser local storage to remove all locally stored preferences
  • •Your on-chain funds are always accessible through your wallet, independent of the purple.trade frontend

Children's Privacy

purple.trade is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect any information from minors.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
